1.Description


Serve a harvest of fun-filled whoopie pies in exciting fall
shapes. Easy to make, and a wonderful way to share baking with the little ones
for fun family projects, no matter the season. 12 cavities. Dishwasher safe.
Nonstick for easy clean-up.


2.Use and clean


Use


1. Make the cookie batter according to your recipe and set it aside.


2. Place a piece of parchment paper onto a flat
work surface and place the Cake Pan onto the center of the parchment paper. Use
the pencil to trace around the outside of the cake pan onto the parchment
paper. Cut out the shape with the scissors and discard the scraps of parchment
paper.


3. Scoop out a small amount of vegetable
shortening onto the paper towel and grease the inside side edges of the cake
pan. Place the cut parchment paper into the cake pan so that it fits perfectly.


4. Press the cookie batter into the prepared
cake pan, making sure it is at least 1/2-inch thick across the entire surface
of the cake pan. For best results, spread the cookie batter evenly.


5. Bake the cookie in the cake pan at 375
degrees F for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Check regularly; remove the cake
pan from the oven when the cookie batter is set in the center and the edges are
golden brown.


6. Cool
the cookie in the cake pan on a wire rack until it is completely cool. Invert
the cookie out of the cake pan and onto a large cake board. Peel off the
parchment paper and discard it.


7. Frost the cookie as desired. Suggestions for
frosting include making a floral or star border around the outer edges, writing
a celebratory message on the cookie or adding animals or flowers made of
frosting.


Clean


1. Pour hot water and two to three squirts of gentle,
degreasing dish detergent into a dish tub. Soak the muffin tin in the hot,
sudsy water for at least one hour to degrease the pan and loosen crust.


2.
Wash the inside of the muffin tin cups and the area around the cups with the
sudsy mixture and a dish sponge or Muffin Pan cleaning brush to remove baked-on
batter and grease. Dislodge burnt batter or grease that remains with a
toothbrush or nylon scrubbing pad. Rinse the pan with hot water.


3.
Combine baking soda and hot water to create a paste. Rub the paste onto the pan
in a circular motion with a dish cloth to scrub away food or grease buildup.
Rinse the pan with hot water.
